The bold film interlaces intimate birth stories with surprising historical, political and scientific insights and informative statistics about the current maternity care system. PANEL DISCUSSION

Jeanne Bazille, TM, CPM - Jeanne, a traditional homebirth midwife, is now in her 27th year helping families who make the choice to birth at home.
Dr. Jeffrey Essen - Dr. Jeff is a Certified Naturopath and natural health educator. In working to locate the cause of physical symptoms, Dr. Essen recognizes birth trauma to be an influence in many imbalances.
Evelyn Lindholm, RN, BSN, IBCLC - Evelyn has over two decades of experience as a labor and delivery nurse and currently serves as a lactation consultant at Fairview Ridges Hospital, as well a doula.
Patricia Lucas, MA, DTR - Patricia is a PhD candidate in the Prenatal & Perinatal Psychology program at the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute . \n

Joann O'Leary , PhD, MPH, MS - Dr. O'Leary is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Minnesota. She specializes in Maternal-Child Health and Prenatal Parenting, with a particular focus on pregnancy after a prior loss. Proceeds from this event support the educational programming of Ten Moons Rising Holistic Family Education.
