Ten Moons Rising is the local sponsor of  THE BIRTH TOUR , a Public Radio International audio documentary about the perceptions, practices and importance of birth in America.

Childbirth has undergone radical changes over the last century.  How have these changes affected the birth experience for mothers, babies, partners, fathers?  BIRTH is a new a Public Radio International audio documentary  that explores the birth experience from physical, emotional and philosophical perspectives through interviews with doctors, midwives, doulas, historians, and parents. 

After airing the documentary, we will open an informal community discussion.  You are warmly invited to join this important conversation among parents, grandparents and local professionals such as Catherine Burns , Developmental Movement Therapist and Craniosacral Therapist,  Madelene Doring, RN, Hennepin County Medical Center's Nurse-Midwife/OB-GYN Unit, and Patricia Lucas, Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology PhD candidate.

All are welcome.  Suggested free will donation: $5.  No one turned away.
