The Ten Moons Rising Center is envisioned to be a supportive, community-building facility. The center is envisioned to have three components: a Resource Center, an Education Center and a Family Center. 

Resource Center

The Ten Moons Rising Resource Center will provide a comprehensive listing of birth and parenting resources in a central database.  Inquiring parents will be able to access information, biographies and pictures of local childbirth/parenting professionals by entering a name, profession, zip code, etc.  A sample of the categories this database may include are:

The Education Center at Ten Moons Rising will house classrooms for workshops, classes, support groups and trainings, such as:

Family Center

The Family Center at Ten Moons Rising will provide a much needed social environment where parents and their children can connect with each other in a supportive, family friendly environment.

The gathering place is envisioned as a café with tables on the perimeter of a large play area.  Parents can share healthy treats as they exchange information, concerns, and experiences while their children make connections of their own in a setting that caters to their needs.

Ten Moons Rising will create a warm, inclusive, accommodating environment in which a rich diversity of families will be encouraged to connect with old friends and make new ones, gradually building the network of support that is so often lacking in the lives of today's parents.
